Her parents are Harvey Welker, a Native American father, along with Julie Welker, an African American Mother. She is the mother of a real-estate agent, while her father is a graduate in engineering. Walker went to the Germantown Friends School located in Philadelphia's Germantown, where she received the diploma in 1994. In 1998, Walker earned the bachelor's degree in the field of education at Harvard College. Welker is engaged to John Hughes a well-known marketing director for Merck at Philadelphia and the couple has two children. In 2014, they started being involved in an affair. John is husband to her. He's 4 years younger than her. They decided to bring their relationship to a higher stage because things were running so smoothly. They got was married on the 4th of March 2017. Their wedding ceremony took place within Philadelphia Pennsylvania. The ceremony took place in The Hyatt in Philadelphia. The only family and friends of the bride were invited to attend the wedding.
