
Ky-mani is on the rise through his untitled 3rd album. In February of 1976, Ky-mani Marley was born to famous Robert Nesta Marley and Jamaican table tennis champion, Anita Belnavis, in Falmouth, Jamaica. East African words for Ky-mani are a reference to an adventurous traveler. Being an East African man, his music and tours can be described as an adventure. The Journey was his first music venture. The artist was a multifaceted one that was looking for his own musical niche. Many More Roads (Grammy nominated) was Kymani's "traditional" reggae single. It brought out Kymani's maturation. The Journey as well as Many More Roads were well accepted throughout the world, which established Ky-Mani's status as an independent "artist". Ky-Mani is renowned by his unique mix of hip-hop and R&B along with some modern jazz.
