Laura Vandervoort

She first made an appearance actor in 1997 at the age 13 years old. She made her acting debut in the year 1997, at age 13. After taking classes and working as a background actor on Canadian series such as Road to Avonlea, Harriet the Spy and Goosebumps, she was given speaking parts on the Canadian horror program Are You afraid of the Dark? and Goosebumps. The shows were both aired by YTV. [2] After commercials and guest starring roles as in Mutant X, Prom Queen: The Marc Hall Story, Goosebumps, Twice in a Lifetime, Doc, Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye, Troubled Waters, The Dresden Files, and several Disney Channel Original films (Mom's Got a Date with a Vampire and Alley Cats Strike), at age 19, while attending York University[12] where she was studying Psychology and English. Vandervoort found herself in the role of Sadie Harrison in the CTV teens' drama Instant Star that was on air for four seasons. Vandervoort had her feature-film debut in 2006 when she appeared on The Lookout. She starred with Jeff Daniels and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Matthew Goode was also there. Vandervoort got a role in Smallville in a drama serial on The CW. She was Clark Kent's Kryptonian "Kara Kent" as the character who will be Supergirl. In episodes seven and eight came in the form of a regular on the season, "Bloodline". [3] She then returned for another two episodes in the season ten, and in the finale of Smallville. 4. Following The CW and Smallville, Vandervoort filmed the sequel in the feature film Into the Blue titled Into the Blue 2: The Reef.
