
Stephanie Sigman, a Mexican-American actress. Her debut role was in Miss Bala, a Mexican crime drama film. She went on to be seen in Pioneer (2013), Spectre (2015), Going Under (2016) and Annabelle: Creation (2017). Sigman was a prominent character in Narcos (2015), S.W.A.T. (2017) and the second season of both shows. Sigman was born to the family of a Mexican mother and an American dad, Lee Sigman, who is a New York Yankees scout. Sigman is an U.S. citizen through her father. [2][3][4] She's an U.S. citizen by virtue of her father. The brother of her is a the baseball player Kenneth Ray Sigman married actress Barbara Mori Sigman. Before making her film debut at Rio de Oro, she made her debut as a Mexican TV star. She played Laura Guerrero, the lead in Miss Bala, a Mexican crime drama film. The film was nominated as the Mexican entry in the Best Foreign Language Film category at the 84th Academy Awards.[7][8The film, however, was not included in the final list. [9] Sigman was nominated for a Dublin Film Critics' Circle Award in 2011 for her performance in the film. In 2011 she starred in Catalina Aguado, the Canadian documentary film Flight of the Butterflies. In 2013, Sigman starred with Pioneer, which was a Norwegian thriller.
