
Kelly Ripa, born on October 2, 1970 is a singer, dancer show host, actress and television producer. Ripa is well-known for her work on the ABC soap opera All My Children and the ABC sitcom Hope & Faith. She is also the co-host of "Live With Kelly and Ryan" the morning talk show, since 2001. Ripa, along with her husband Mark Consuelos and their Milojo production company that is based out of New York, owns the company. Kelly Maria Ripa is the daughter Esther Ripa of Joseph Ripa who was a union bus driver president. She was born and brought up in Berlin, New Jersey. Ripa's older sister, Linda, is a children's novelist. Ripa was raised Catholic Her father is the Democratic County Clerk of Camden County in New Jersey since 2009. The family of her father is the first to enter the field of acting. The ballet training began for her when she was just three years old. She also plays the piano. Ripa completed her studies at Eastern Regional High in New Jersey and also was the cheerleader. Her high school drama teacher school encouraged her to study acting. As a senior, she got noticed while acting as "The Ugly Duckling" at a local theatre production. Following her graduation at Camden County College, she went on to study psychology. The college dropped her to move into New York City and pursue an acting career.
